While Washington Republicans have been focusing on attacking our teachers and our scientists, Democrats have been actually getting things done to build safer communities for us all.

That's right. We just passed a historic $300 million investment to reduce homelessness and paired it with funding for community policing reform AND behavioral health. Just some of these big-ticket investments include building new housing, rental and utility assistance, and raising wages for homeless service workers.

Democrats are building safe and healthy communities -- while Republicans, frankly, are running their mouths. Let's prove that spreading hateful, anti-science lies isn't going to win them this election:
