South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham has spent the last weeks contorting his previous stances in every way possible to defend Trump against the impeachment proceedings. But this time, he's gone too far, even for him.

Last week, Graham torched a longtime friendship along with what was left of his credibility when he announced he'd launch his own Senate investigation into Joe Biden's interactions with Ukraine -- long debunked smears designed to muddy the waters of Trump's impeachment.

Even as recently as September, Graham said he wouldn't attack Biden. This year, he's gone on television to call Biden "honorable" and "a good man." The facts of Biden's interactions with Ukraine in 2016 haven't changed -- only Graham's fealty to Trump has.

We need to work to get Lindsey and all of his fellow Trump-enabling senators out of office. Lindsey Graham's re-election campaign is flush with cash from large-money donors and corporate PACs, but Jaime Harrison, Graham's Democratic opponent, is making major headway with two back-to-back record-breaking fundraising quarters.
