Phew, what a relief for everyone 😂 ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌

G'day John,

Right now on TV, the Liberal party is running attack ads against the Jacqui Lambie Network. They are scared Tammy is going to beat Eric Abetz to the sixth Senate spot in Tasmania, so they are doing what they always do, resorting to negative spin to try and trick people into voting for them.

It's been a long, grinding election campaign for everyone involved, including the poor punters who can normally tune out this kind of rubbish.

I can't say I've been very inspired by our two prospective leaders and their campaigns. Too much negativity, not enough vision. Vision on how solve the problems people are facing every day: Healthcare, aged care, housing, electricity costs and jobs!

I don't give a stuff about the spin, all I care about are outcomes. My mate and lead Senate candidate Tammy Tyrrell is the same. She's a normal, down to earth Tassie woman, who is sick and tired of watching people from the major parties cycle through our elected positions and offer nothing more than a few nice words and maybe a little pork (if we're lucky) on the way through.

They're using fear to try and control people. It's disgusting.

Politics in this country used to be better than that. And Tammy Tyrrell and I believe it can be again.

I haven't run one negative ad all election campaign, and I don't mean to start now.

Tammy and our lower house candidates have been doing what I like to do. They've been going to markets, community events and street corners just to chat to people. Revolutionary stuff, I know.

That is what our grass roots campaigning looks like. Not a $100,000 TV spend on spin and lies. No, just talking to people, and sometimes taking a photo or a video of it and putting it online.

With one week to go, I've decided to spend the small amount of money we have left to put the videos and photos we've taken on the campaign trail in front of as many Tasmanians as possible (scroll to the bottom to see a couple of examples).

We'll do our bit to add some light and joy, and some respect to the last week of the campaign. If that doesn't make the choice clear for voters, then I don't know what will.

I know it's been a long campaign and you've probably already donated what you can. But if you have anything left in the tank, please chip in to support this ad campaign.

If Tammy wins on 21 May, I will have the backup I need to keep fighting in the Senate. And Tasmania and Australia will have another mum in the ring to fight for solutions to their problems.

Please donate to push Tammy over the line

Thanks for your time mate,

Jacqui
