TIPS AND TRICKS

How to Find the Right Sunglasses For Your face

Avoid Frames That Are Too Wide
Unless you’re aiming for a bug-eyed look, avoid glasses that are too wide for your face. Measure your face width from temple to temple: if your face is 4 ½ to 5 inches wide, you’re on the narrower side and should look for frames in the 118-128mm range. If it’s 5 ½ to 6 inches, you’re on the wider side, so shoot for 140-15mm frames. Somewhere in between? Shoot for 130-140mm frames.

Contrast Your Face Shape
If you have round features, find a pair that has more aggressive angles. Sharper features? Try on a pair of sunglasses with round frames. Sunglasses with shapes that are the opposite of your features create a sense of symmetry that’s pleasing to the eye.

Go With a Classic
Still have no idea? Snag a pair of Wayfairers. The classic sunglasses have a combination of round and square features that gives them an almost universal appeal regardless of your face shape. Again, just make sure they’re not too wide.
