Buddy Carter Gives Greater Georgia and Kelly Loeffler's Efforts a Shoutout on Fox News May 10, 2022 - Fox News Loeffler: Biden must change course to preempt food shortage April 25, 2022 - The Washington Examiner "In America, the availability of everyday goods such as groceries and gasoline is generally a given. Even in 2020, amid the fallout of a pandemic, well-documented shortages were relatively short-lived. But as the economy recovered heading into 2021, the shift in Washington toward Democratic policies may now make hunger pangs familiar in a way unseen since the Great Depression. While America is the world's breadbasket, reliance on Russian and Ukrainian wheat, barley, fertilizer, and, most of all, energy has made every mouthful cost more, as have increased regulations and taxes on our farmers here at home. Russia and Ukraine produce 25% of the world's wheat, and Russia exports 20% of the world's natural gas supply, both vital to the food supply chain. Russian President Vladimir Putin's invasion has disrupted these exports and left the world in a precarious position. A recent article in Parade listed basically every food as at risk of being in short supply in 2022, from eggs and dairy to produce and meat, but then laughably blamed climate change as one of the key causes. Particularly since shortages will be felt most by the more than 10% of Americans who are food insecure, President Joe Biden should be working to avert this looming crisis. Instead, he shrugs and says, 'With regard to food shortage, it's going to be real,' and then plays the solutionless blame game..." Click HERE to read the full op-ed. Loeffler, Greater Georgia question fairness in APS voter registration events April 20, 2022 – Fox 5 Atlanta "Former U.S. Senator Kelly Loeffler said her voter registration and engagement group is not being allowed to hold an event at one Atlanta high school, while an organization founded by Democrat Stacey Abrams is... The New Georgia Project has held two voter registration events at North Atlanta High School this year--one in September and one just last week. When a representative from Loeffler's group, Greater Georgia, reached out to the school and asked to schedule a similar event, an employee told them: 'We are already committed with the New Georgia Project for another voter registration drive next month, which will close out our year. I also think there are tentative dates with New Georgia Project in the fall as well. Therefore, we will not need another voter registration day with another organization before the fall general election.'" Click HERE to read the full article.
