Join us in thanking these firms and corporations for their incredible support In 2021, our clients faced the continuing hardships of the pandemic on top of systemic barriers to family, health and education supports. Families who fought hard for stability during the last two years saw pandemic relief end and access to stable housing taken away. Thanks to the steadfast generosity of our partner firms and corporations, Children’s Law Center was able to help DC kids and families tackle these unprecedented challenges. We worked directly with 4,000 children and families last year, improving their support at home and at school, and we secured policy wins and investments that improved the lives of over 50,000 kids. This would not have been possible without our partners’ unwavering commitment to this work. Through our Champions for Children campaign, law firms and corporations represented on our boards challenge themselves, corporate contacts, associates, partners, vendors and staff to raise critical funds for Children’s Law Center. Today we’d like to recognize those who’ve truly gone above and beyond to help us reach DC children and families in need during a difficult year. We’re proud to announce our 2021 Champions for Children winners: CHAMPION FOR CHILDREN – 250+ Attorneys in the DC Office CHAMPION FOR CHILDREN – 100-249 Attorneys in the DC Office CHAMPION FOR CHILDREN – 1-99 Attorneys in the DC Office CORPORATE CHAMPION FOR CHILDREN CHAMPION FOR CHILDREN – High Flier Join us in congratulating Latham & Watkins LLP, Mayer Brown LLP, Miller & Chevalier Chartered, Bates White Economic Consulting and DLA Piper LLP (US) as our 2021 Champions for Children Award winners and learn more about each of them here! Ensuring children and families have access to justice and the resources they need to thrive is a complex challenge in the best of times. The last two years created even more obstacles and hardships. It’s clear we need more champions today to help us navigate these new challenges in the years to come.
