Just because it’s not trending on Twitter or at the top of each newscast segment doesn’t mean the right to choose in this country isn’t in imminent, existential danger.

So, where is the aggression, anger, and determination that we saw last week?

We know you are still as committed, angry, and determined as ever, but what about the rest of the country? Where’s the passion we saw last week for saving Roe?

The Republicans have done an excellent job of changing the narrative in record time.

It's easy for them to do because of their multibillion-dollar conglomerate of right-wing media partners. They’ve got FOX “News,” Breitbart, Newsmax, The Daily Wire, and all the rest of that filth at their disposal, plus syndicated talk radio – a medium they have a complete stranglehold on.

Thanks to their efforts to shift the narrative, even the coverage on CNN – supposedly the most "moderate" of the major news networks – has shifted from the leaked decision itself, and its deadly ramifications, to the protests outside the Justice's homes. 

It’s disheartening to watch.

Now, it’s always been our policy at No Dem Left Behind that we never talk about a problem without offering a solution.

But the fact is, we don't have any control over SCOTUS – a point crudely emphasized by Justice Clarence Thomas in a speech he gave in Atlanta on Friday, in which he accused pro-choice protesters of attempting to “bully” the right-wing court into preserving the right to choose.

"[Americans] are becoming addicted to wanting particular outcomes, not living with the outcomes we don't like," said Justice Thomas. "We can't be an institution that can be bullied into giving you just the outcomes you want. The events from earlier this week are a symptom of that."

So, since SCOTUS considers itself unaccountable to the American people, someone else will have to solve this problem – namely, the legislative branch, because that’s how checks and balances work.

Roe v. Wade MUST be codified by federal law, and to do that, we need to keep our House majority and expand our majority in the Senate – it's that simple.

That means what we need from you today – and we’re not going to beat around the bush – is for you to step up and help us reach the ambitious goal we set to raise $1 million in May to support pro-choice Democrats running for the House and Senate.

The No Dem Left Behind Senate Fund is focused on tough battleground races where we have a shot at winning open seats or flipping red seats blue.

These are the races that will decide Senate control, and it’s vital we have the funding we need to organize on the ground in the rural and working-class communities that will win or lose these seats for the Democratic Party.

We are also seeing young people engaged in political activism over Roe, many of them for the very first time! That means we cannot waste this opportunity – we need to get them registered to vote.

That’s why we’re also launching a program to make sure every protest that’s sure to take place across the country in the coming weeks and months has a fully-staffed voter registration table on-site, ready to turn pro-choice marchers into Democratic voters.

This really is a turning point in our country's history, and when you look back at this moment in the future, you don't want to be saying to yourself: “I wish I had done more.” 

So please, dig deep and chip in what you can to help us meet our million-dollar goal to cut through the narratives of the right-wing media machine, protect and expand our Democratic majorities, register the next generation of pro-choice voters, and SAVE Roe v. Wade.

This is it folks: This is the fight of our lives. The late, great Ruth Bader Ginsburg pleaded for us to codify Roe, let's honor her legacy and win this one for Ruth!
