I'm Democrat Carol Glanville – and on Tuesday night, I won my special election for Michigan's HD-74 thanks to the support of grassroots Democrats in Michigan and across the country.

I'll be honest with you: No one expected this to happed – Michigan Republicans especially. A Republican candidate won this seat by 26 points in 2020. But after my surprise victory on Tuesday, Democrats only need to win three seats to flip the Michigan House.

Unfortunately, my former opponent Robert Regan refuses to accept the results of this election – in fact, he’s contacted law enforcement officials crying wolf about election fraud. And because my race was a special election, it's possible I’ll be facing off with him again in a November rematch.

The stakes are even higher now: Michigan has a pre-Roe abortion ban still on the books, so if Republicans hold onto their three-seat majority, it could mean the END of abortion access in Michigan. That’s why the DLCC urgently needs your help today.
