Mayor Lightfoot is doubling down on her commitment to keep Chicago's doors open to those seeking abortion care.

Yesterday, Mayor Lightfoot was joined by some of Chicago’s most fearless women leaders to announce the Justice For All Pledge: a pledge to make Chicago a safe haven for reproductive rights and abortion access. Along with the Chicago Department of Public Health (CDPH), she also announced a $500,000 investment to help women access the reproductive health care they need and deserve.



Regardless of where you live, Mayor Lightfoot believes you deserve safe and accessible reproductive care. And thanks to her, Chicago will provide it. As long as she is Mayor, Chicago will serve as a refuge to women across the country - especially in the Midwest - whose rights will be denied when Roe is overturned.
