🗳 Voter Guide for May Primaries 🗳

Starbucks benefit concert May 6 at Eyedrum

Early voting for state and local elections in Georgia is still open, and it's time to vote! The critical failures of the Democratic party to defend people's healthcare, including the right to a free abortion, highlights the need for voting in progressive, democratic socialists.

Use ATLDSA's primary voter guide to learn all about the candidates and their stances on key progressive issues. Plus, we've got events planned all month to help Get Out The Vote!

🌹 Find your polling place and preview your ballot at https://mvp.sos.ga.gov/ 🗳

🌹 Knock doors to get out the vote this Sun. May 15th 11:00 AM at Brownwood Park! RSVP here!

🌹 We're canvassing every Saturday at 11am until election day! Save the date and sign up for future canvasses on our monthly calendar: atldsa.org/calendar 📅

🌹Defending the Right to Abortion!🌹

Following the leaked Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe V. Wade last week, over 1,000 working-class Atlantans took to the streets in defense of abortion rights. Missed the demonstrations? Sign our pledge to fight for abortion rights with Atlanta DSA and receive updates. Plus, see pictures from last week's actions on our blog, Red Clay Comrade.

The fight isn't over! Join us Saturday May 14th at 12pm, to protest with Planned Parenthood Southeast at the Bans Off Atlanta protest. We'll meet up at 1 M.L.K. Jr Dr SW, Atlanta, GA 30314, USA. Bring a mask, water, and a friend!

Want to get involved in the national fight for abortion rights? RSVP for DSA's nationwide call this Thursday at 8:30 PM: Free Abortion on Demand without Apology.

🍴 Douglas Debs Dinner 🍴

For 13 years, Atlanta DSA's Douglass-Debs dinner has brought together Atlanta’s progressive community to honor outstanding role models and leaders, celebrate our accomplishments during the past year, and enjoy an evening of comradeship.

This year, our keynote speaker will be AFL-CIO Southern Regional Director Charles Clark. We will host the 2022 Douglass-Debs Dinner in the IBEW hall on Pulliam Street in downtown Atlanta on Friday, June 3, 2022.

The dinner is a great opportunity to meet with other community activists and hear from inspiring speakers.  Tickets are $50, with reduced-cost tickets available for students and other low-income comrades. We look forward to seeing you there!
