Thanksgiving week is not only a time for family, friends, and food, it is also a time for reflection, expressions of gratitude to God Almighty for His many blessings, and prayer.

This week I wanted to call your attention to a recent blog [[link removed]] written by AFA's very own Rev. Joseph Parker, Director of Outreach and Intercession at our ministry. He is a radio host on American Family Radio, a pastor, and a pro-life warrior.

His blog is titled "Spiritual Warfare: Lifting Up the President in Prayer." It has really struck a chord with those who have read it, as it has been shared more than 243,000 times.

He states in his blog: "One of the best and most accurate descriptions of what we see happening in Washington D.C. is extremely intense and relentless spiritual warfare. We see that, in the political theater of our government, there is much wrestling between the kingdom of Light and the kingdom of darkness."

I think you will be blessed by the sentiments expressed in Joseph's blog [[link removed]], but most of all, I hope you will be moved to pray for our president and other government leaders on every level.
