I am feeling grateful, folks.

First, I wanted to thank you for your overwhelming support. You helped us reach our $15,000 online end-of-month goal — and continue to stand with us through our toughest challenges.

I truly mean it when I say: our people-powered campaign is meaningless without you!

And second, in honor of Military Appreciation Month, I want to thank every American who served in our Armed Forces. These brave men and women deserve our gratitude and more for sacrificing their blood, sweat, and tears to protect our hard-won freedoms and democracy.

During my active duty as a fighter pilot, I was privileged to work shoulder-to-shoulder with brave men and women who showed me every day what duty, honor, and loyalty look like.

They continue to inspire me to fight hard for Louisiana every day.
