Last night, Trump's puppet J.D. Vance won the Republican Senate nomination in the Ohio primary. We'll be blunt: this joker won because he was backed by shady corporate money, Donald Trump's dollars, and right-wing conspiracy theories.

This man is dangerous, not only because he is a walking red flag of American fascism, but because he represents that Trumpism is alive and well. Some of his most outspoken supporters include Marjorie Taylor Greene and Matt Gaetz, known instigators of the insurrection on January 6 and embarrassments to our democracy. He even defended the Texas abortion ban, and called rape ‘inconvenient.’

This November, we need to unseat these people and uplift leaders who will defend our democracy.
