In the midst of the impeachment inquiry, the president has been sweet-talking the senators who will serve as the jury during his almost certain trial. Guess which "moderate" went to meet with him?

Susan Collins has spent the last 20 years keeping her Senate seat by pretending to be a moderate. Like Lucy with the football, she tries to make us believe that this time, she'll save us and actually be a voice of reason. But when push comes to shove?

She puts Brett Kavanaugh on the Supreme Court.

She says she's a moderate on immigration? She just voted to elevate the guy who designed Trump's plan to rip immigrant children seeking asylum away from their families and put them in cages.

People are finally starting to catch on that she's not just going to pull the football out from under us -- she'll make sure it has a lifetime appointment to slam us in the head, too. She has a job approval rating of just 35% in Maine. She lost the endorsement of the League of Conservation Voters because of her capitulation to propping up Trump's anti-environment, climate change-denying, soul-crushing administration.

The Cook Political Report has classified her Senate race in 2020 as a "toss-up." This is the MOST VULNERABLE she's ever been.

This race in Maine is KEY to Democrats winning back the Senate, so we know Mitch McConnell and the GOP will flood Maine with millions in dark money for Republicans to hold onto the majority.

But Democrats have an incredible chance this cycle to take down Susan Collins and take back the Senate: her name is Sara Gideon. She's a leader in the fight against climate change in Maine, a steadfast supporter of Medicaid expansion and Roe v. Wade, and she's not about to sell out her values for corrupt corporate sponsorship. 97% of her funding comes from donations of $100 or less.
