The Politico document released last night showed a draft opinion from the Supreme Court that would overturn Roe v. Wade. We won't mince our words – if this is true, this will be a stain on our nation for years to come.

Let's be clear – this blatant attack on reproductive rights is a direct result of the election of Donald Trump and the Republican party's refusal to hold him accountable. He committed crime after crime, packed the Supreme Court with anti-choice extremists, and spit on the face of our constitutional rights.

We know that overturning Roe will not result in the end of abortion, only the end of safe and legal abortions. We must elect leaders who will protect the health, wellbeing, and autonomy of their people. On November 8th, we must elect leaders who will defend the right to reproductive choice.

The Treason Caucus is responsible for botched procedures and back-alley abortions; from rushing the confirmation of Amy Coney Barrett to sacrificing science in favor of outdated party ideals. We can't let them continue to attack our rights.
