In a shocking story tonight, Politico reported on a leaked draft of the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade.

First, I want to be clear: Abortion in this country is still legal. Roe is still the law of the land.

But I am appalled, angry, and anxious for what this leaked draft means: Our reproductive freedom is under immediate and direct threat. This fight has never been more urgent.

This leaked opinion from the Supreme Court wasn’t even the only bombshell today. This morning The Washington Post revealed that overturning Roe is just the first step of the Radical Right’s agenda to ban abortion nationwide.

It’s important to know that this decision is not yet final. But we need to brace for a future where more and more people are punished and criminalized for seeking and providing abortion care.
