Dear John,

Those of you who participated in our 2021 Virtual Study Tour in Israel remember Robbie Gringras, an Israeli educator and performer who gave us a remarkable presentation about Mizrachi culture in Israel.

This Yom Ha'azmaut - Ameinu, Ameinu Canada, Habonim Dror North America and Habonim Dror Camping Association are thrilled to have Robbie once again joining us to celebrate the complexity and energy of Israel by sharing the story of five contemporary Israeli songs that “sum it all up”!

Robbie will present and discuss five songs that represents the “Israeli story” inspired by the words of “Hatikvah” - “To Be a People Free in Our Land” ; One song addresses security (To Be), one relates to Jewishness (People), the third addresses Freedoms and the fourth talks about the Land. The last song will be for good luck!

All the clips will have English subtitles, and you are encouraged to connect your screen to some good loud speakers!

Don't miss this unique and free opportunity to celebrate Israel's Independence Day!

Come ready to share your list – what five songs would you say “sum up” Israel?
