A few days ago, the New York Court of Appeals struck down our state’s congressional map and ordered it to be redrawn by a Special Master appointed by a Republican judge.
Here’s the short of it: A new congressional map for NY-17 could bring new challenges like a Trump district, which would require us to fight harder to reach voters and overcome negative attacks from opponents.
My focus needs to be on this fight — but with only a few hours left until April’s end-of-month deadline — my team is telling me we’re behind on the modest, internal fundraising goals we set for our campaign.
