First the bad news: As of this morning, we’re pacing behind our goal of 1,000 grassroots contributions before Saturday’s end-of-month fundraising deadline.

But here’s the good news: We’ve been here before! The truth is that it’s pretty common for our strongest surge of support to come in the final days before our deadline, so we know we can get this done.

And it’s important that we do, because these goals are not arbitrary.

They're what we’ve calculated we need to do so Ed can stay laser-focused on fighting for our progressive agenda, instead of dialing for dollars like many of his colleagues in Congress.

We’re so fortunate to have a nationwide movement standing with us who comes through when we need it most. Today is one of those days, so we have to ask:
