Not long ago I asked you what your priorities are for the next few months. Many of you mentioned that affordable housing, climate action, and workers' rights are top of mind for you and your families.
It’s no coincidence that those issues are top of mind for me too. Last week, I highlighted a list of accomplishments from my first 100 days as Comptroller – I included the list at the end of this email just in case you missed it last week…
Bottom line: We make a good team.
That is why I'm reaching out today. Saturday is our next end of month fundraising deadline and I could use your help. Donate now. [[link removed]]
We know that fighting for a just and equitable future isn’t always popular, especially with deep-pocketed interests invested in the status quo – but, we aren’t shying away. We’re digging in, finding opportunities, and maximizing every chance we have to push for progress through policy decisions and our platforms.
Part of that fight lies in never turning off campaign mode. We have an opportunity, honestly we have a responsibility, even between elections, to organize around our progressive values and put pressure on holding our government accountable to our collective priorities.
That is why I recently added Jenny and Cameron to our team. They’re here to make sure we have what we need to make the biggest impact we can in the next 100 days and beyond. And that means we need your help.
Our community is only strong if we continue to band together. I’m personally asking you to chip in $25 (or whatever you can) before our end of month fundraising deadline on Saturday. Can I count on you? [[link removed]]
With hope,
Brad
