Hey folks, long time no talk! Remember me? The lifelong Nevadan, running for Lieutenant Governor? Well, if you still don’t know - my name is Kimi Cole and I’m running to make history as the first trans woman elected to statewide office. I am also running to be a champion of the environment, workers rights, and active in the fight to increase the minimum wage.

So much has happened in the past few weeks so I wanted to give all of my supporters an update.

First, the good news:

- We have had great volunteer outreach opportunities to help us connect with voters - everything from phone banking to knocking doors to community events.

- I have received donations from grassroots supporters across the state- and across the country!

- And of course, I am a Barrier To Entry endorsed candidate, breaking barriers and opening doors for future candidates who deserve a seat at the table but are too often pushed away

Being an endorsed candidate for BTE means so much to me. Having the support of a PAC with a mission to elect candidates from ALL backgrounds is something near and dear to my heart.

I am different and I bring something new to the table. However I have not always had support, and there are times when I have been looked down upon. BTE has truly been my biggest champion, supporter, and ally in this race and I have all of you to thank for that.

I realized I never shared my bad news - well folks, that is because I don’t have much bad news to share. But of course, I can always use more supporters, more donations, and more volunteers to help me stay competitive in this race but I would not consider any of that bad news - I would consider it an opportunity for growth!

Thanks for sticking with me through trying times and a tough campaign, and thanks for being here for the joyful and exciting moments too! It all means so much.
