Urgent Solidarity Request to email the BOS

This message was sent to the FCDC Labor Committee by David Broder and then shared with FYD.

SEIU Virginia 512 Fairfax President Tammie Wondong and I are writing this morning to ask for your assistance on an urgent matter.

Despite the Board of Supervisors passing a strong collective bargaining ordinance, the Fairfax Department of Human Resources (DHR) has written “draft guidance on employee and management rights,” which would silence county employees and undermine their rights to organize their union and bargain.

Would you email the Fairfax Board of Supervisors today to tell them to oppose this anti-union draft guidance?

A sample letter is attached (click here) ([link removed]) , which you can add your names to. Feel free to make whatever edits you like. We have also added the Board of Supervisors' emails below.

Thank you in advance for sending this letter, today if possible. We could not have won strong union rights without your support. And we can't defend those rights without your support either!
