We’re so excited to tell you about Jasmine Beach-Ferrara (D). Jasmine is an Emerge alum in North Carolina, and she’s running for Congress to defeat insurrectionist and Trump-wannabe, Madison Cawthorn (R).

As an openly gay Christian minister and a mom of three, Jasmine knows a few things about defying expectations. She’s also proven that with compassion and community power, Democratic women can beat GOP candidates in the South – by winning her election to the Buncombe County Commission in 2016, and defending her seat by a double-digit margin in 2020. 

Jasmine’s been fighting to help North Carolina’s children and families survive the pandemic and win the policies they need to thrive. That’s why it’s critical to elect MORE Democratic women up and down the ballot this year.
