Our April fundraising deadline is coming up on Saturday, our team wanted to share three things you should know about the current state of our race:

1. Mondaire’s up for re-election, but his work is just getting started. Every deadline leading up to the election will be more important than the last. Mondaire has done incredible work for families in NY-17 and our entire country to champion legislation lowering costs on essential items and creating millions of good-paying jobs. There is too much at stake to jeopardize his seat and the progress we’ve made together in this year’s election.

2. Our district is much more competitive than in 2020. Through the redistricting process, we picked up counties where Trump won big in 2020. Opponents have already jumped in to challenge Mondaire.

3. The National Republican Congressional Committee's target list is growing. The GOP has been watching our campaign closely, and with a new influx of Republican voters in our district, this is the perfect opportunity for House Republicans to target Mondaire as they try to take back the House majority. As the GOP continues to report record-breaking fundraising totals, we can expect them to ramp up their outreach efforts and attack ads leading up to the election.

Our team has a lot of tough battles ahead to protect Mondaire’s seat in this coming election.
