Dear John,
You know ISI has a great tradition of cultivating the next generation of conservative heroes . . .
. . . and on May 13-14, you’ll be able to meet one of these courageous young leaders as part of our Homecoming Weekend: Co-Founder and Managing Editor of the Chicago Thinker, Evita Duffy.
In less than a year, Evita and the Thinker have done more to expose bias in higher education than most mainstream journalists will over the course of their careers. Speaking of the mainstream media . . .
. . . the Thinker team has taken them on too. Last week The Atlantic hosted a conference at UChicago on “Disinformation and the Erosion of Democracy.” The irony might not be lost on you. But it was on the event’s attendees. That is, until the Thinker’s student journalists asked tough, honest questions that stopped the mainstream media panelists in their tracks.
I hope you’ll be able to join Evita and the rest of the ISI community at this year’s Homecoming Weekend.
Hosted on our beautiful 20-acre campus in Wilmington, faculty, students, alumni, and friends of ISI will come together for a weekend of fellowship and a renewal of their ISI intellectual experience.
Remember, if you’re under 30, you can get a discounted ticket for the entire weekend for only $50 . . .
. . . but hurry—ticket sales close May 9th!
Here’s what to expect during this year’s Homecoming Weekend:
