Russia interfered in our 2016 elections. Point blank. The White House and the GOP can lie all they want, but the evidence is staggering. We even saw the president invite more countries to interfere with the 2020 election when he thought it would get him out of trouble for attempting to extort the same from Ukraine.
The evidence is also staggering that they, and many other countries, will do the exact same thing in 2020 if we don’t work to stop them. That’s why we need Congress to do its job and pass the SHIELD Act. This bill would increase transparency around campaign contacts with foreign governments and increase security for our elections.
