John is launching a tour around the district — to all 29 counties — that we’re calling his "Boots on the Ground" tour.
So, why Boots on the Ground? Since raising his hand to serve, John is always ready to lace up his boots and fight for what matters — from combat in Iraq, to helping his fellow veterans transition, to serving at the forefront of national service legislation on Capitol Hill.
Now he’s ready to grab his boots again and hit every part of the district to serve and represent all the different communities and constituents in TX-23.
John is making it a priority to spend a whole week in each county so that he has the time to meet with and listen to as many of the people he'll be representing as possible.
As one of the largest districts in terms of land and a majority rural, making sure we can stop and spend plenty of time in each county is no small feat — but this campaign has never been one to avoid hard work and we know that making sure people across TX-23 are heard is worth it.
