I jumped into this race because I love my country. We live in a great nation. And no, we’re not perfect. We are flawed. But we can acknowledge America’s greatness while also recognizing those flaws.

At the heart of that is our democracy. A democracy that has been bruised but not beaten because people like you and I are fighting for it. And we do that by electing responsible leaders — people with integrity. Character. And love for this nation.

I am confident I can be that leader, but I can’t do it alone.
