NVFS Earns Funding to Support Afghan Refugees in Northern Virginia

NVFS received grants from the Community Foundation for Loudoun and Northern Fauquier Counties' McDermott Family Fund and the Community Emergency Relief Fund to serve Afghan refugees and those impacted by the crisis. NVFS’ Multicultural Center (MC) provides mental health, legal and case management, and information/referral services. The grants will help recently arrived Afghan evacuees and refugees move out of the initial crisis and basic needs phase of resettlement, into longer term recovery phases. Learn more about the grant investment <[link removed]>.
