For the last 17 years, Food & Water Watch has been fighting against dangerous and polluting corporations — in Congress, in courtrooms, and on the ground in communities across the country. We stand up to their power, money, and influence — and we win. But we’re just getting started!
One step at a time, we work to protect our communities and natural resources against the destructive economic forces focused only on profit. And thanks to your support, we’ve won many victories:
🌎 Five years ago, with the Don’t Frack Maryland Coalition, we passed a bipartisan bill to ban fracking in Maryland, paving the way for other states and communities to stand up against the dangers of fracking.
🌎 We’ve fought water privatization since our founding. Working with local coalitions, we’ve protected local control of water and sewer systems in dozens of communities.
🌎 Just last year, we won a landmark lawsuit in the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals to force the EPA to enforce the Clean Water Act and require factory farms in Idaho to report their water pollution. This is a major blow against industrial agriculture, with broad national implications.
You are a crucial part of these victories and we’re proud to have you with us in this journey to protect our food, water, and climate. Without your generous support, we couldn't do what we do.
John, we still have a lot to accomplish. Thanks to our donors, volunteers and activists, we have more campaigns and victories on the horizon. For the love of our farmers and our food, for the love of nature and our wildlife, for the love of our water and the millions of communities who rely it — will you stand with us on this Earth Day? Donate now and your gift will be matched $4-to-$1.
Onward together,
