I am excited to share the official Fiscal Year 23 (FY23) budget request for the District of Columbia that my office submitted to Mayor Muriel Bowser. I want to thank my staff for working diligently to ensure we invested in the program areas that will support residents the most.

For the FY23 budget, our requested budget priorities are segmented into the following categories:

  • Affordable Housing & Housing Support
  • Public Safety
  • Economic Development & Small Business Support
  • Special Populations Initiative
  • Education
  • Operations Requests and;
  • Capital Requests

Our main goal is to ensure the disbursement of budget funding is done in a way that prioritizes residents and communities that need it the most. I will continue to fight to keep the above-mentioned initiatives a priority in the final FY23 budgetIt is a pleasure to serve the residents of Ward 8.

Regards,

 Councilmember Trayon White, Sr.
