Across the nation, extremist Republicans are attacking two of our constitutional rights: our right to make decisions about our own bodies and our right to make decisions about who we elect to office. Unfortunately, Georgia is often ground zero for so many of these attacks.

Georgians will remember back in 2019 when anti-choice extremists in our State House tried to pass an extreme bill that would have banned abortion as early as six weeks – before most even know they are pregnant. The Georgia ban was ultimately struck down, but Georgia Republicans will try again regardless if Roe v. Wade is overturned. Now, Florida became the latest state to pass one of the GOP’s extremist anti-abortion bills into law, this one banning abortion after 15 weeks.

When I was elected last year, I vowed that I would remain on the front lines to defend abortion access. That is precisely why I stepped up and co-sponsored the Women's Health Protection Act , a bill to eliminate all bans on abortion. Our leaders must defend this right, at all costs.

It is clearer than ever that the fight for abortion access is yet to be won, and while I am doing everything I can in Congress, I cannot fight this battle alone. Will you lend your support in this critical fight for abortion access? [[link removed]]
