Folks — January 6th was a dark day for our democracy. A violent mob, incited by some of our very own leaders in Washington, stormed the Capitol to stop the peaceful transfer of power and overturn a free and fair election.

January 6th left our democracy bruised but not beaten.

That’s why we must get to the bottom of what happened on that horrific day. Not just to hold those responsible accountable. But to prevent another attack on our democracy from ever happening again.

Louisianans deserve to know the TRUTH about January 6th, but Senator Kennedy couldn’t care less. He joined Ted Cruz in trying to overturn our election. But he also voted against creating an independent commission to investigate the attack last year. Inexcusable.

No matter who you voted for or what party you align with — we as Americans must protect the basic principles of our democracy.

Luke is running to bring accountability to Washington and defeat Kennedy. But until then, we need to make OUR voices heard loud and clear. We want answers, and we want them now.
