My Grampo's in the hospital, and I have to take a break from the doors. I'm hoping you can help make sure we don't lose too much ground, my friend.

Hi team

On Easter, my Grampo checked into St Michael’s in Silverdale. He’s going to be okay, but at almost 92 everything makes me a little more nervous. So I’ve taken a break from knocking on doors and making calls to sit with him, holler at him when he just smiles at the nurses he can’t hear, wheel the oxygen tank on walks around the 6th floor, and lose a few games of checkers (I was trying to win!).

I’m grateful to live close enough to be here. I’m grateful for the members of UFCW 3000 that are taking such excellent care of my favorite viejito. And I’m grateful to the community I can call on when I need a little help.

Since the legislative session wrapped up I’ve spent almost every day knocking on doors, connecting with voters. I do it because I love it, and because I know that direct voter contact will win this election. Since I have to take a break from the doors, I’m asking: can you help?

If you can commit to knocking on just 20 doors sometime this week, will you reply to [email protected] and let Cameron know you’re in? It shouldn’t take you more than 2 hours, and I promise it’s fun! And I’ll be able to breathe a little easier knowing that my community has my back.

If doors are out of the question, consider making a contribution. You can help us hire our field interns a little sooner to increase our voter contact.

Thank you so much, my friend. It really does take a village, and I’m so glad you’re part of mine.
