from BEXAR GOP April 19, 2022 Issue 16 My fellow Republicans, The May 7 Election is about to begin. This coming Monday the polls will be open for Early Voting. As I've been saying, this may be a "non-partisan" election, but we need to get the word out that there are candidates on the ballot who are Republicans and we need to support them. And everyone who has received their appraisal notices knows that their property taxes, already too high, are going to go up again. If you like high property taxes, vote for the bonds on the ballot. If you like lower taxes, vote against the bonds. Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar reminds us that Texas is offering an Emergency Preparation Supplies Sales Tax Holiday this Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.
