Thank you. There are no better words to begin this email to you. Thank you, thank you, thank you! We've been through a lot over the last few weeks. National Republican interests tried desperately to kick me off the ballot because they know our grassroots campaign can defeat Sen. Chuck Grassley. 

Each and every time we put out the call for help, this team rose to the moment. We couldn't have defeated this desperate GOP challenge to our candidacy without you.

I decided to run for U.S. Senate because I'm worried about where our democracy is headed – about division, games and misinformation. This partisan ploy that Republicans just waged against our campaign is just another example of how our democracy is under attack. They spent big trying to kick me off the ballot and suppress the voices of Iowans. 

But they failed. Come November, they will lose again. We'll retire Sen. Chuck Grassley – who has turned his back on working Iowans – and we'll expand our Democratic Senate majority in the process.

Here's what's also been on my mind as I've reflected on our victory: $25. Since March, when this meritless ballot challenge from Republicans first started, that's the average contribution that more than 4,000 grassroots supporters pitched in. Thousands of people giving $25 at a time powered our campaign to victory – and that's exactly how we'll win again on Election Day.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for giving this fight your all alongside me. I know we can win thanks to this powerful grassroots movement that includes you, John.
