At Food & Water Watch, we believe that people power is what makes lasting change to protect our food, water, and the planet. And with your support, Food & Water Watch, along with our allies, has:

• Stopped proposed fracked gas power plants in Newburgh, Astoria, and Brooklyn, New York, and passed a landmark ban on gas combustion in new buildings in New York City.
• Overwhelmingly won our ballot initiative for 100% renewable community choice energy aggregation (CCA) in Teaneck, New Jersey. And we collected enough signatures to put CCA on the November 2022 ballot in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.
• Defeated the Chickahominy pipeline that would have delivered fracked gas to a now-canceled fracked gas power plant in Virginia.
