As you may have heard by now, recent reporting revealed that the Brooklyn Democratic Party forged multiple signatures in documents submitted to the city Board of Elections as part of an underhanded effort to knock Democrats running for county committee off the ballot. And they're doing it with the support of a powerful law firm with deep ties to the party.

We are outraged. The party should be doing everything in its power to activate it’s grassroots volunteer base, not tear it down. We can’t let them get away with this.

If you want to help create a Brooklyn Democratic Party that actually represents all Brooklynites, join us and our friends from Rep Your Block and New Kings Democrats today at 6:00 PM in front of Borough Hall, to demand that the party #DropTheObjections to all District Leader and County Committee Candidates.

We'll start with a press conference at 6:00pm on the steps of Brooklyn Borough Hall at 209 Joralemon Street in Downtown Brooklyn. (If it's raining, we'll meet nearby at the First Unitarian Church at 121 Pierrepont Street.)

Afterwards, we'll have a community gathering from 7:00pm-8:00pm at First Unitarian Congregational Society undercroft chapel space.
