Protecting Life and Advancing Adoption and Foster Care
This week, Governor DeSantis signed legislation to protect Florida's most vulnerable — the unborn. This law will protect babies from abortion when the child reaches 15 weeks of gestational age. With this important law, our Governor is protecting life. Every child in Florida will have the ability to reach their maximum potential under our Governor's leadership.
He is also investing $385 million dollars to support Florida's foster care system. From foster parents who step up, to tuition exemptions for kids in the child welfare system, Governor DeSantis is making positive advancements in the lives of those often overlooked.
Governor DeSantis believes that every life has value, and he has proven that time and time again as he works to uplift the most vulnerable.
