A new article in the Washington Post shines a light on what happened immediately after Susan Collins cast her deciding vote for Brett Kavanaugh:
“Colleagues gathered around Collins after she cast her vote. ‘Well, they’re going to come after me with everything they can get,’ she said. ‘You don’t worry,’ Lindsey O. Graham of South Carolina replied. ‘We’ve got Sheldon Adelson as chairman of your campaign finance committee, he said, referring to the Las Vegas casino billionaire who was the GOP’s most generous donor.”
