Dear John,

I have some good news to share: we not only hit our goal to raise $5,000 for our Training Fund, but exceeded it by almost $1,000! What a great way to kick off our fourth Jamie Kirk Hahn Academy! Starting today, this three-day intensive training will prepare North Carolina's next generation of progressive leaders to help our Featured Candidates and others run and win in 2020.

This diverse group of leaders has traveled from all over the state to hone their skills and gain the knowledge they'll need to power campaigns. We're excited to get to know them this weekend and follow along as they work hard to change the face of power in NC.

Thank you for making trainings like this possible. With the help of the Lillian's List sisterhood, we are setting the stage to elect a record number of pro-choice, progressive women up and down the ballot next November. I, for one, can't wait!
