Hi friends,
I’m Cameron Kockritz, and I am Senator Emily Randall's new Campaign Manager for her re-election campaign. I am SO excited to be a part of this team and community to ensure we send Emily back to Olympia. Before I start reaching out with ways to get involved to make that happen, I wanted to introduce myself and share why I believe Emily is a true champion for the 26th.
I first met Emily when I worked as a session aide in her office during the 2020 legislative session. On my first day, Emily gave me a sticky note with a Shirley Chisholm quote to keep as a constant reminder on my desk. It read “You don’t make progress by standing on the sidelines, whimpering and complaining. You make progress by implementing ideas.”

Over the next week (and in turn the next two years), I got to see so many of the ways that Emily shows up for our community— how she strives to make tangible differences for the folks in the 26th every day by making healthcare, education, and transportation accessible and affordable, and how deeply committed she is to implementing ideas that serve all of us (like 2020’s SB 6058, a bill that grew from a conversation with the Key Peninsula Fire Chief and has brought more accessible healthcare to the most rural parts of our district).
That first weekend, Emily held four town halls on one Saturday. We traveled between Port Orchard, Gig Harbor, Bremerton, and the Key Peninsula, and over and over again, I was blown away by the rooms full of folks who showed up to collaborate on ways to make our community better.
What I learned working in Emily’s office that first week has proven to be true every week since then: our neighbors are passionate advocates who want to make the lives of their families, friends, and neighbors better, and Emily is committed to making your vision for a better future a reality.
The people of the 26th deserve someone who shows up for us and does the work. I hope you’ll join me in making sure we send Emily back to represent us. It’s time to bust out those Elect Emily yard signs, stretch your phone banking fingers, and lace up your canvassing shoes again. There is still more good work to be done, and I know you’ll never find Emily on the sidelines.
You're bound to get a call from me soon—inviting you to events like our Port Orchard Volunteer Kick-off Canvass [[link removed]] this coming Saturday, postcard-writing events, and lots more!
Even with good old-fashioned people power, it costs money to organize, to host events, and to get our message out. Can you help me start my new job strong and make an investment in Emily's re-election campaign? [[link removed]]
Let’s do this together —
