Jack, this month Governor Gary Ducey caved to passing House Bill 2492, which would require all of our neighbors in Arizona to provide proof of citizenship AND residency to register to vote. This further perpetuates the conspiracy theorist lies that there is rampant voter fraud in our elections. There isn’t. We would know. New Mexico elections go through three separate audits, and you cannot register to vote without a social security number.

But do you know what’s even more outrageous? Our opponent publicly supported this bill and would fight to pass a similar law right here in New Mexico.

We cannot let that happen. Can you imagine a New Mexico where we pass discriminatory and politically motivated laws designed to limit access to the ballot box and further erodes public trust in our elections? Not on our watch!
