"Every time we needed support Councilwoman Dimple Ajmera has stood with us. I am excited that my Union is endorsing her and I am ready to get to work to make sure she gets re-elected."
Chanae Rice, Unite Here! Local 23,
Stock Car Cafe, HMS Host CLT

I am pleased that the Charlotte-Metrolina Labor Council and Unite Here! (a union of 25,000 hospitality workers across the South & SW) have endorsed my candidacy for Charlotte City Council At-Large.
I have been a fighter for our city employees and workers in general as I believe that our economy and families do better when workers are valued and treated fairly. I successfully championed affordable healthcare insurance for city employees based on a sliding income scale.

There is still much to do and I very much want to continue the work I have started as your At-Large City Councilwoman. I humbly ask for your vote in the upcoming primary election.

Early voting begins April 28 and ends May 14. Click
