John, it's Abby. I've got a lot on my mind after our appeal to the Iowa Supreme Court yesterday, but I have a couple of minutes to spare and want to give you an update on where our campaign stands.

Right now, Republicans are doing everything they can to kick me off the ballot – but we are doing everything we can to fight back. Their meritless case rests on just a few signatures that had minor errors in the associated date. But Iowa law doesn’t state that signatures can be invalidated because of a missing date. They are literally making up reasons to silence the voices of Iowans and undermine democracy while spending thousands against us to do so.

Let's be clear here: this campaign has met every single requirement to be on the ballot for U.S. Senate. The Secretary of State’s Office affirmed it, and the bipartisan State Objections Panel affirmed it. I intend to be on the ballot and defeat Sen. Chuck Grassley on Election Day. All of this is happening because Washington Republicans are absolutely terrified of the grassroots movement that we've built. They know that reelection is slipping away from Sen. Grassley – and that 64% of Iowa voters said they're ready to elect someone new. Instead of playing by the rules, they're attempting to give Sen. Grassley a free pass so he can coast to reelection.

You see, this is about so much more than a name appearing on a ballot. It's about fighting for working families. It's about getting better leadership after 47 years of Sen. Grassley's failures in Washington. It's about giving Iowans a real choice at the ballot box. It's about stopping the GOP from undermining the democratic process.
