Ruth’s List is thrilled to announce that Congresswoman Val Demings will be a keynote speaker at our annual She’s the Change leadership conference on Saturday, May 14th.
Orlando’s first female Chief of Police, Val Demings was elected to serve Florida’s 10th Congressional District in 2016. She swiftly gained a reputation as a tireless champion for public safety, civil rights, and the American Dream that had given her a chance to succeed. She also garnered widespread acclaim for her conduct as a deliberative and justice-focused impeachment manager during the impeachment trial of former President Donald Trump.
Our annual leadership conference is an exciting opportunity for elected officials, current and future candidates, campaign staff, donors, and allies across the state to come together, learn from each other, and chart a bold course for Florida’s future. The conference kicks off on the evening of Friday, May 13 and continues all day on Saturday, May 14 at the Rosen Plaza Hotel in Orlando. |
