Look at any GOP primary, you’ll find Trump’s shadow and a bunch of MAGA nutjobs tripping over each other trying to catch up with it. 

Where is this shadow taking them? Toward the absolute rock bottom of American politics and total destruction of our democracy, of course. 

In the Pennsylvania Senate primary, Dr. Oz is basking right in the sweet spot of Trump’s shadow. After all, he *also* made his career building a fake TV brand and peddling shady products to an audience of millions. Now, he’s taking a hard MAGA right turn and adopting every position possible to put him in Trump’s good graces.

COVID pseudoscience? Check. 

Stolen 2020 election? Check.

Claim that Trump’s in “perfect health?” Check. 

Why should you believe him? He’s a doctor, of course! Just like Trump’s a businessman. 

The saddest part is that even though Dr. Oz just secured Trump’s endorsement, his opponent, David McCormick, decided to spend the past four months chasing down Trump’s support. He even hired Stephen Miller and a bunch of other Trump cronies. What’s he got to show for it? Looks like it’s time to toss McCormick in with Mo Brooks and the rest of his pals in the island of misfit MAGA rejects. 

Here’s the deal, Friend. There’s about a month left until the Pennsylvania GOP Senate primary. Even though Oz just secured his endorsement, Trump’s got such a stranglehold on the party that the remaining candidates will keep chasing his shadow off the edge of the political cliff.

We’ll laugh at them now. But the crazy brand is hot in American politics, and we need to seriously consider the fact that one of these lunatics is on the brink of being the next junior Senator from Pennsylvania.
