We know and have witnessed the ways in which underrepresented and often neglected communities of color and immigrant communities have been denied the fundamental right to vote. When our democracy and our voting rights are under a sustained attack, our work is more vital than ever before. No matter the challenges, we must engage and empower Black, brown, and young voters because those communities are being left out of the democratic process.
