Did you know that multiple states in the U.S. introduced some form of ban against teaching critical pieces of our civil rights history?
That’s right, John. Republicans are turning back the clock and attacking the fundamental values of the Civil Rights Act of 1968. State legislatures across the country are passing laws that limit who can run for office, how we talk about race and identity, and even who can vote this November .
That’s why we’re putting our money where our values are: in supporting candidates running for office who are ready to protect the communities who need it most!
But this fight is going to be tough… we know that deep-pocketed Republicans are on a mission to gain a majority in the House and will do anything it takes to turn back the clock on all of our civil rights.
The GOP is working overtime using scare tactics like the ‘Don’t Say Gay’ and ‘Stop Woke’ Acts to suppress Democratic voices and push vulnerable community members further to the margins. John, ready to put an end to these attacks? Join us in supporting candidates across the country gearing up for the fight ahead! [[link removed]]

In Solidarity,
Cassandra Stone, A Woman’s Place
The contemporary political landscape is filled with progressive women who are running for elected office up and down the ballot, who possess a true vision of equality for this country's future. A Woman's Place seeks to support their efforts by providing financial resources to embrace this tongue-in-cheek idea of what a woman's place should be.
We help put women where they belong: positions of political leadership throughout all levels of government.
