Hello John!

The biggest challenge for a political campaign is making sure to get out the vote on election day. Campaigns use all sorts of tactics to do this. From phone banking and texting, to knocking on doors, there are plenty of old school and new school ways to get voters to the polls.

One of the most critical campaign tools used today is called VAN. It’s a voter contact database that lets campaigns know who their voters are. If a campaign doesn’t have access to smart voter targeting, it’s going to be awfully difficult to get out the vote in an effective way.

So, I’m asking, will you chip in $10 to help my campaign purchase VAN? Every dollar will go toward purchasing the voter contact system so that I can begin doing the critical work of getting out the vote.

Being able to reach more voters gives me insight into the biggest issues facing my community. Representatives need to talk to voters more, they need to LISTEN more, and then take what they learn and put it into action. That’s what being a good public servant is all about.

Will you chip in $10 to help my campaign purchase the voter contact system VAN so I can start reaching out to Iowa voters in my district? With VAN, we’ll be able to compete for every vote and connect with Iowa voters directly.

The campaigns that get out the vote – win. It’s as simple as that. If we can reach the voters in my district, we can win this race.
